Four-Week Teleclass Structure

The following is taken from Get Paid University.

First teleclass

In your first session, begin by focusing on participants’ Goals and Vision. Use a conversation-starter to get things going. For example: “Do you want to be the locomotive in your life, or the caboose? Which one are you right now?” Determine where your participants are in relation to their goals, and how ready they are for change in their lives.

Second teleclass

After your participants have clearly outlined their goals, you can focus on Strategies for Change. What is one step each participant can take to get on the right track toward what they want? Discussing this question in a group format will generate ideas and excitement. As an added bonus, you’re creating a support structure!

Finding Your Web Wizard

The following is taken from Get Paid University.

Where do you find a Web Wizard? My friend Elza of www. elzamusic.com went to www.rentacoder.com, posted a request for bids, found a guy who was great, and paid just $15 an hour for a few hours to get her website and blog up and running. He turned out to be a high-school student who was working from home in another state, and he was so responsive that he would complete projects for Elza the same day she sent them. Let’s see if we can find someone like that for you!

Do You Need a Blog and a Newsletter?

The following is taken from Get Paid University.

One day I’ll come up with a really simple way to answer that and I do answer it in the book but we’ll see what comes out now. I think a blog is wonderful. I would never have a newsletter without a blog and the way I’m doing it these days is I want my blog to be my newsletter. I have a blog and then put your newsletters on your blog. That’s pretty simple. You just put the article on your blog. What I think you should have people do though is make sure they still subscribe to your newsletter or your blog so that you can send out an email saying, “Hey, check out the latest article.” I think that’s really important, the emails to alert people and bring them back.

Email Scripts to Turn Friends Into Subscribers

The following is taken from Get Paid University.

An easy way to start your subscribe list is with people you already know. To turn your current contacts into newsletter sub- scribers, don’t just dump all your contacts into your newsletter database. This is a huge mistake – I hate it when people assume I want to receive their newsletter just because I know them, and don’t give me the option to subscribe. Don’t you? You want people to opt in – you want their permission. So, here’s are two sample sample emails that you can send to your current con- tacts two days apart.

By doing this, you email people twice and that’s it. It’s a great way to share what you’re up to and to ask for help without spamming your friends.
