    Hello
Today I invited Anne. I invited her because she works for a client of mine and he thought Anne and I would be a good fit. Anne is not interested in coaching but instead would like me to hire her to speak to my coaching groups. I thought we might be able to negotiate a trade of sorts, but she is really just interested in me hiring her. Oh well, I was happy to, at least, get the “no”, so I can take her off my list.
I had another potential client meeting tomorrow, but she had to cancel. I have a meeting scheduled tomorrow with Dale, who I had invited earlier in the week, so we’ll see what happens there–c’mon client!

Yes, I had 1 intro session with Nita W. today and she signed up for four months of coaching. She is dealing with choices about where to go with work next and procrastination. I also signed Sue R. for three months of coaching after her intro on Tuesday.

Between yesterday and today, I have sent out five more emails. I am awating responses. This is such an energizing process. Thank you David

Conducted 2 intro sessions today. One of them is signing up for 3 months to work on goals around his new business venture and very much looking forward to the accountability and support. The other is unable to pay at this time but very excited about sending referrals and earning some coaching time that way.

You’re all doing fantastic! Keep it up!

Prep questions, Wendy? Oh yes, that reminds me… where was I going to get those from again? Was that you or Dr. Lorrie.

The massive numbers of posts above are getting a bit hard to search through.

Anyway, an update. I didn’t make it out the door today so I didn’t do the business to business rounds yet, but it was for a good cause:

I finally got my website set up for an ebook I wrote (not on this subject, but I’m just so goshdarn pleased I’m going to share it anyway: http://www.sellyourstuffatamazon.com — and the more apropos one would be http://www.instantstressreliefstrategies.com You might notice the similarity of the two sites 😉 Yup, I basically copied the layout from the stressbook site and plugged in the info from the other book.

And I also have a shortish free ebook on stress that you’re welcome to at http://www.freestresstipsreport.com (it comes with my self-help stuff newsletter).

Some of those tips really help me when I get a case of nerves before calling prospects 😉

I did call Michael again and left another message. We shall see…

Plus, once I set up my salespage, I emailed a couple of lists about it, and I piggy-backed an invite for the free coaching sessions at the bottom of the emails, so who knows. Maybe a few will respond…

    Th 11/6:

Today I delivered a session to J from the open studio. It took longer than my other recent sessions to get him to that place of “this is what I was put here to do and my life won’t be complete if I don’t”, but we did get there, and then (of course!) he said yes. He negotiated a non-standard month-at-a-time deal, and to pay by (also non-standard) check – ugh. So I await the check.

I also called to confirm tomorrow’s 3 sessions – a full day! All three have sent their answers to the prep questions, so I can prepare in advance and all will go smoothly.

Today: 1 session delivered, 1 new client, payment promised
    Total invitations so far: 26
    Sessions scheduled: 9 / Sessions delivered: 4
    New clients: 1 / Pending: 2 / Money collected: $250

Linda, it’s great that even if they say no you can still get referrals.

Jan, ‘think out loud’ session – that is a great opening.

Suzanne, the invitation email is in David’s PDF of call #1 at the download page. I think it is on the last page of the PDF. The article should have been in one of the last emails. They will also be included in future emails as well. If you aren’t getting any email, check your bulk mail folder.

    Keep talking everyone!

Hi, today I had the best start ever by going to spend the morning with Amma:-) The hugging saint from India. Wow… heart expanding!
So when I came back I had a call from a friend of one of the ladies who’d done a session with me, and I will call her tomorrow to invite her.
Just did a session with Ralu, who is feeling overwhelmed at work, unsure of where to settle down and missing clarity in her life. She wants to sign up for the 6 month program and has to get her finances checked so asked me to email her all the details again. I did a session with her boyfriend earlier this week and he was really happy with the clarity so they might even sign up together:-)
I love being able to connect with everyone from all over the world!
I also invited Paula today as she is looking for some direction in her life. She’s in NY state and we’re connecting the 20th.
    Have a great day everyone!
    blessings,

    Tina

    Hi all,

I am really loosening up! I haven’t had but one actual session yet, but there are many in the works. Today I offered a session to Marissa who expressed an interest 2 months ago and hadn’t followed up. She’s a 25 year old who wrote a children’s book 3 years ago and wants to move forward with it. We will schedule a session next week. I also offered one to the bartender, Steve, next at the place where my group is having our next networking event. I figured that he is possibly in a transitional place in his life. He sounded interested but didn’t commit. So many young adults are not in jobs that they really want which makes them a good group to coach as long as they can pay for it. Has any one done a transition group for young adults? If so, how did it work out for you?

Today I was on LinkedIn checking out my connections and their connections. I sent an email to a former colleague, Claudia, who’s job will be downsized within the next 18 months, and offered her a ‘think out loud’ session as to how to move forward. I learned of this via networking with some people at the site. I have resume review sessions with one of them (this software engineer with help me learn about live web meeting) and trial sessions with two of them next week.

I also contacted a former fellow Abbott (Healthcare/Life Science Industry) HRD professional via LinkedIn. My Master’s program chair and mentor had connected us when we worked for different divisions. He is now a VP of Talent Management at a biotech. I told him I would be very interested in talking to him about executive coaching for building the talent pipeline.

I also followed up with the local (Austin) Right Management Development VP who another HR VP had referred me to. This organization does outplacement and career transition and development coaching for Abbott and another spin off division. She said she was very interested in talking to me (I have the corporate development background, Abbott connection, and corporate coaching experience.) This would be a win-win partnership. Think positive thoughts for me on this one!

Beautiful day here in Austin – the last day before my son goes back to France so we will play a little now.

Someone who was in a workshop I facilitated last week suggested her mother might be interested in either leadership or organizational coaching. So I called her mom up and left a voicemail message this morning offering her a sample session. Also, I received my first check for $600 in the mail from a new client as a result of this challenge.

Day 14, invited L.A., a woman who recently started her own non-profit organization as a caregiver. Waiting to hear back. Also got responses yesterday from people I’d talked to previously, so total stands as:
Invitations offered, 14; accepted, 12; sessions conducted, 2.

My challenge now is getting everyone scheduled who has accepted. Dealing with my crazy schedule and theirs. Some of them are already scheduled but are weeks away. This is also why I haven’t done an email blast… I have limited time slots right now. But I can see where the blast will come in handy at some point when things slow down a bit!

Beth, how can I get “David’s invitation email?” I haven’t found it yet. It sounds so helpful! Also I wasn’t able to be on the call Monday evening and will be delighted when it is available. I keep looking back on the ” http://www.solutionbox.com/30daydownload.htm ” thinking it will show up there. . . Um. What else am I missing? What ever is “David’s article in the AR,” mentioned above in glowing terms? Thanks!

This evening I invited Teri, an awquaintance who didn’t know I was a life coach. In our haste, I didn’t get an answer, but plan to call her.

Was going to call Michael tonight to follow up, but was very tired so went to lie down for a bit and fell asleep for about 3 hours, and now it’s too late to call 🙁

Will make a note to call him tomorrow.

Meanwhile, in order to meet my call quota for today, I just called my friend Robin in California (where it’s earlier) and asked her if she wanted to do a session.

She’s very much into personal growth, and also making some major changes, plus she was very encouraging when I asked her (before this 30 day challenge started) if I should do this coaching challenge (i.e., I asked her if she thought I would make a good coach and she said yes, definitely). And yes, she wants to do it. Probably this weekend. She’ll also think about who else she might be able to refer to me for a trial session.

I also think I ought to do the “go to local businesses and offer their owners/managers etc. a free session” thing, and will set aside some time for that tomorrow 😉 And order business cards offering free sessions, or maybe
just create a coupon (business card sized) and post it around town.

I invited Vicki today – someone who another friend introduced me to. Her response was she would think about it. My gut says it won’t happen – AND that’s OK. I’m chatting with another person tomorrow night who I WILL set up a trial session with early next week.

After having a session with my coach today, I’ve decided to go for a yes or no after a trial session. I’ve done several free samples and have not heard back from them so it’s not working that way. I’m going to tell them that what I’ve found when people tell me they want to think about it is that they don’t do it. Doubt and proscrastination set in. So I will assume that we aren’t working together and that’s OK. They just aren’t ready yet. Then ask who they know that would be interested. This way I won’t be holding my breath for them to give me an answer or I won’t waste time and energy on chasing them down. Feel really good about this decision.

Question about tonight’s session with Alex. (Perhaps I don’t know the answer because I had to leave before it was finished.)

David’s orginal email to us talked about a VIP Discount Code, a $79 discount and a $20 telespot.

Was that for tonight’s session? (I wasn’t asked to enter the code anyplace or asked for a credit card for a a $20 fee.)

Or was it to participate in more of his teaching. I’d love to get more but can’t afford the $2400 price tag from his website.

Day 14: A bit of a bummer after a few prospects who indicated that they were interested in getting started soon, have decided to postpone working together for a while. Definitely seem to be attracted to those who are challenged financially. It’s time to be stepping out of my comfort zone a bit more, as well as finding a better strategy for eliciting value in the complementary session.

Congratulations to you Jerry! Great job!! I’d love to hear what’s working for you. Are you up for a chat? If so, please e-mail me at suzannastephan@yahoo.com.

I extended an email invite to MG, a sales professional as well as to see about obtaining a referral to his ADHD boss. I’m finding that I get a much greater response if I am able to talk with them personally rather than e-mail or phone.

Oh – I forgot to post my progress today. Here goes:

Today I mentioned the challenge to someone who didn’t say “I’ll take a session” but is open to possibly doing a talk together. He is a motivational speaker and may be open to coaching or refering. His name is Carlo. One person, Craig, who I called yesterday set up an appointment. He’s a chiropractor and wants to go over goals for next year. I called him because he is open minded and growth oriented. I also e-mailed a real estate broker who is open to talking about coaching opportunities (presumably for her or her agents). I mentioned that I am coaching an agent and a broker now.

You are inspiring me! Thanks to all of you! I was getting discouraged and now I feel good again. I’m heartened at the thought of getting past these barriers – for my business, for my client’s sake and here’s the best part – to be in integrity. I can’t keep encouraging my clients to get out of their comfort zones and hide in mine – especially since I coach entrepreneurs who need to learn how to “ask for the work”.

David, are you going to post the two calls from this week?

Emailed another survey participant this morning as she had stated in her survey that she would consider using a life coach to relieve stress but was not sure how it could help. Will follow the email up with a phone call early next week to both Janet G. and Corneliu T. from yesterday.

Day 14: Did my 4th intro session since the Challenge began yesterday. The call went well and although Renae didn’t sign up on a cash basis, we did agree to continue coaching in exchange for some graphic design work I need done, and will also exchange NLP coaching as well. Didn’t have time to post this on the board yesterday before heading off to my Personal Training session at the gym. I was working with a new trainer and we talked about what I do. She admitted to me that she has been stressed a lot lately and was thinking about looking up a life coach, so I offered her a session. She says she’ll call soon 🙂

So far I’ve invited 16 people, received 11 yeses and completed 4 sessions. No money made yet.

She responded, “Yes,” to my offer of a comp session which we’ll do next week. Fun! I see that this 30 Day process is really opening my mind to always be looking for potential clients everywhere. Thanks again David and everyone else here! for your inspiration!

AND PATTY, responding to your inquiry of 11/3/08 “Also, Laura F stood me up again! I’m thinking I should just let it go. Thoughts?” — There are probably several angles to attack this from and, perhaps depending on the particular person, several healthy responses. I would love to offer you a complementary coaching session around this! I hope you take me up!

    Wed 11/5:

Last night at an election party, I was surprised to see R, a musician I know from conferences who lives in another state. He’s in town to do a TV interview about his music. We’ve talked business in the past, and had a brief conversation about it last night. He said he was interested in talking, but not in working with me right now, so I stopped short of making an actual invitation. I’ll give him a few days to get back home and then call to talk further.

This morning I started the day off with a happy result. In my buddy call with L, I learned she has a book in her that wants to come out, so I offered and scheduled an intro call for her for Friday. I now have one for tomorrow and three for Friday. Woo-hoo!

Today is project day, and my project is all about the 30DC – writing and sending some bulk e-mails, and making a bunch of calls off my “low-hanging fruit” list. Unfortunately, it’s only a partial project day, as I was up *way* too late at the election party last night and so got a late start on the day, and I have a couple hours of things already scheduled for the afternoon. But I do have some evening hours that I don’t usually have. I can make some calls when people are home, and still take care of myself and have some fun too – I need to do both.

Today so far: 1 session scheduled

    Total invitations so far: 26

had a great session this morning with Anita, who has been feeling stuck in creating clarity in where she’s holding herself back. She’s off to Bali for a month and will contact me when she gets back to either go for 6 month program or a few sessions.
Then had a session with Henny, who’s in between jobs and wanted some clarity to what was holding her back or slowing her down from moving forward.
She’s been to my group trainings and loves it but realised today that one on one is really powerful for her, and she’d not had that experience before.
She has to sort out her finances and will get back to me.
I invited Lisa and we are meeting on the 14th.
    Busy but fun!
    blessings,

    Tina

I’ll be listening to the audio later as I’m also in Europe:-) The link was somewhere in an earlier post, Claire:-)

Invited Maggie Blue today. She is a yoga instructor and pretty successful in multilevel marketing. She has a huge sphere of influence. She said yes, and is leaving for Kauai tomorrow. Wants me to call her Friday in Hawaii–she should know her schedule.

Had a session scheduled with John today. He had not written down the time, and was leaving to vote for Obama. I let him go vote. I was going to keep him on the phone if he was voting for McCain. (ha). He wanted to do it tomorrow. I told him that my schedule was full, so we rescheduled for Thurs.

Had a great chat early this morning with my new buddy, Wendy. Yea!

I extended 9 invitations today to people who expressed an interest in what I was working on and wondered how they could help. I have so far heard back from 3, and made appointments for tomorrow and thursday.

Looking forward to tomorrow, have 2 sessions, plus a meeting with the head of the Entrepreneur program here at the local university about doing a speaking engagement and workshop for the business school.

Love reading all the other posts, everyone is doing a fabulous job! Can’t wait to see the rest!

Day 13 – Held a workshop this morning for 75 staff at a professional svs firm – made a point of handing out newletter-sign up sheets and at the same time asking if they were interested in a complimentary session… as a result I’ve emailed 9 people this afternoon asking them if they want to book in.

Dave, it wasn’t up yet when I checked last. But probably tomorrow (I hope). It had some great role plays!

Day 12: left another message for John. Also left a message for Leah. Called them because they’re both going through some challenges where some coaching could make a difference. Haven’t heard from either one yet.

Oh, and talked with Maurice. He has a crazy week ahead of him so he wasn’t sure when he’d be able to do the exploratory call, but I’m hoping he’ll find some time on the weekend.

And then there’s Michael. I feel like I’m herding cats!

Also had my exploratory session/call with Teresa, who had responded to my invitation that I sent out by email to my self-help stuff list that goes wtih my blog at http://www.myfavoriteselfhelpstuff.com, and I thought the call went really well.

She said she’d like to get coached, and agreed to $100/month initially, but at the moment she doesn’t have the money (freelance writer, check’s “in the mail” situation), though she likely will in about two weeks and would like to start then.

So that’s cool. I think I can really help her and I look forward to working with her.

Now I need to get my welcome package together in a hurry and send it to Colleen and Shirley!

And I need to contact more people about coaching since it seems that once I talk to them about the potential in their lives, they get pretty excited and want to go for it.

I had no idea! This is fun! I want to do more (and I really need to raise my prices a bit or else I’ll be doing 40 people for $100 a month (though there are worse problems that I could have, right).

Still… With Teresa, I said for the first time that my normal fee is $300/month and didn’t sound apologetic. I also told her that I’d be willing to give her a break initially, but also that the coaching is going to help getting her income up of course and then she’ll pay more. She said that sounded great.

Thanks, David!!! Like I said in one of my emails. One of the most empowering programs I’ve come across!

I offered a session to Nancy who is in some fun life transition – new marriage and will be moving, finding new job, etc. I told her I was in a 30 day challenge and that she might want to work on how to move forward (intending with two is powerful.) If it was something she was interested in, great. If not, after experiencing a coaching sample first hand, she might know of someone who would be interested.

Today was another good day. One person who I invited called to schedule a sample session. Coached 3 people today, and when I took my son to Gymnastics, I invited a woman who is goin through a brutal divorce to a coaching session. She seemed very receptive. i at one point today was beating myself up a bit for being in public, and not taking advantage of opportunities to invite, but looking at the day now, the energy feels good, and the momentum feels like it is building again.

Today I invited 3 people. 2 of them are chiropractors who could be good referral people for me and possible clients. Okay, I confess, I am so tired and have been glued to the television on this election night. I can’t even remember who the 3rd person is and I can’t get to my notes now! I haven’t heard from anyone yet but left messages.

She is going through a divorce after about 30 years and making some changes and creating a new life. She said “sure, okay” but not with much excitement, so we’ll see what happens. 🙂

Emailed Corneliu T. a participant who filled in my research survey. He stated he would consider using a coach if it would help him become confident in himself. He also stated that he would not be able to pay much as he’s only just surviving. I’ve used a version of David’s invitation email and await his reply.

Well this is up there in that wonderful intersection between synchronicity and woo woo. I brought my daughter to her soccer practice this afternoon, and after dropping her off, a man who I don’t ever remember seeing before, comes walking up to my car, smiling and acting as if he is so glad to see me again. We had a great discussion about the election that went on so long, I finally asked his name (It’s Steve) and then I asked him what he does. Well it turns out he is right in my niche (Green leaders and organizations) and he is looking to make some big career changes. So I gave him a card, offered him a sample session, and did some low key informal coaching. He said he would think about it and get back to me, and my hunch is he will. The energy was right, and I think I got some wheels turning in his head.

    Hello 30dayers
Today I invited Dale. I invited him because he owes me. HA! Just kidding. Sort of. I invited him because he & I have talked before about him becoming a client but he hasn’t committed. This week, he asked me to do something for a colleague that involves my time, but no money. I suggested that this might be the time for him to become a client because then I would be getting some compensation for my time and he would be getting double value. We are meeting on Friday to make arrangements.

Thanks, Wendy, for your generous offer to share your prep work before a consultation. I will extend the same offer. If any of you are interested in either my email invitation or my prospect prep email, just write me at patty@lifebydesign.biz and I’ll get it, or them, to you. Of course, change it to reflect your business, and don’t use any of my trademarked or niched stuff. Otherwise, I hope they help give you a head start!

Today, my invitation went to Abbey F., a woman I met through my Yellow-Tie networking group, and who I got to coach through the process of hosting a Yellow-Tie event. It would be fun to give her a sample session to help her take a personal or professional goal to the next level. I’ll let you know how it goes!

I got a lot out of last night’s call, especially the distinction that I was attached to how I was doing it (inviting by email first and not via phone), even though I’m getting good results! So, now I will let that go and just celebrate the process I’m creating that reflects who I am…because that’s the one I will actually do!

All your messages are appreciated. As I read about your celebrations, challenges, and lessons learned, I’m inspired! Many thanks to you all.

    Till tomorrow,
    Patty @ Life by Design.biz

Today I asked Jean, who called me about another matter. She said yes & we scheduled for Nov. 20 @ 10:00 AM. I did ask her (I remembered for the first time ever!) for referrals and she told me she thought her cousin could sure use it but that she didn’t know if the cousin would accept it. I’d like help on how to handle that kind of objection. Maybe they’re there & I just haven’t found it yet. I also haven’t yet found the email invitation template. Help.

Cathy forgot her introductory session at 1:30 today. When I callled her she was voting & will call next week to reschedule. I put it on my calendar to call her Thursday if I don’t hear from her before then.

    Tue 11/4:

An easy day so far, and a productive one:

J from the open studio was scheduled to call this morning. I called him, and we scheduled an intro call for Thursday.

K, my editor, who I e-mailed yesterday, enthusiastically accepted my offer and we scheduled for Friday.

S from the open studio, who I sent the prep work to yesterday, e-mailed back that she’s not financially ready to schedule, but has read my info and will ponder the questions.

And I voted after lunch – no lines, though there’d been lines out into the street from 6 to 9am. A 98-year-old woman was first in line, at 5:30am, I was told! I got moved to tears as I walked home, to be a part of the change that’s happening. I’ll be helping a friend gather exit poll data tonight to combat fraud, at a party where we’ll celebrate with friends.

And I talked with my new buddy this morning, Dr. Lorrie. Watch out, 30-Day Challenge – we’re only just getting started!

    Today’s results: 2 sessions scheduled

    Total invitations so far: 25
    Sessions scheduled: 7 / Sessions delivered: 3
    New clients: 1 / Pending: 2
    Money collected: $250

Had a wonderful session with Lori today. She has been wanting to expand her business for yonks and we’d talked about it before but she was still feeling stuck. So it was really fun to connect with her again and to give her some action steps to move forward.
What’s becoming clearer to me is that I am attracting a lot of coaches or other light workers, as I call them, who are ready to expand, and I am a few steps ahead of them so it’s really easy:-) And fun!
Lori would like to have ongoing support and is interested in joining my group program, which I intend to start in February 09.
I invited Ria today and she is coming over next week. Her son is also interested and will call to set up a time.

This is such an enlightening experience! I’d heard many times it was a good idea to offer sessions and I would do it but never before in such a consistent manner!
It’s getting easier and every session seems to finetune.

I’ll definitely be sharing this with aspiring coaches or those who wish to expand their business:-)

    blessings,

    Tina

Day 12… can’t believe we’re nearing the halfway point.

Had a session today with the first person I invited back on Day 1. It went very well. Afterwards she commented that she felt she had effortlessly developed some very workable solutions just by talking things out. I won’t be coaching her right now for a couple of specific reasons, but it was a productive session as she is willing to refer me to an organization that supports non-profits such as hers with coaching and consulting. This will be a great introduction for me and I appreciate her willingness to do that.

Today I invited V.M., a former consulting colleague who is in work transition. Waiting to hear back.
Invitations offered, 12; accepted, 11; sessions conducted, 2.

    Happy coaching, all!

Yikes, Jerry! Good for you for trying, failing, and learning from it. I think that’s a lot of what we’re here to do on this challenge.

Another thing I don’t recommend: doing an intro session (or coaching series) for a couple. Offer each their own session. No matter how open with each other they tell you they are, and no matter how much you believe they believe it, or they try to talk you into it. By the time you finish, they’ll get it and will thank you for it. At least that’s been my experience.

Okay, now it really is way past my bedtime!

Today I did a intro session with 3 people on a joint call. Do not do it.
I think coaching is a more personal one on one process. a few hours
later one of the prospects called and said he was not clear about coaching
and wanted a face to face to see if it was for him.

    AN OFFER TO ALL:

Jacleen very boldly followed the advice in my recent post about the power of asking (good for you, Jacleen!), and asked me if I’d share with her the prep work I send prospects before an intro call.

I’m happy to share it – a lot of it is derived from stuff other coaches shared with me, so it seems only right to pay it forward.

Anyone else who wants it can e-mail me at Wendy@TheProsperousArtist.com, and when I get around to it, I can send it to all of you at once.

I would ask, though, that you at least tweak the language so it suits you. And anything that’s specific to my niche is stuff I wrote myself, so I’d ask you not to use that, but to come up with something of your own or leave it out. (If you’re not sure, ask!)

Also, the road metaphor in my Menu of Services is part of a larger idea I use to express what I do for my clients, so please don’t use that. If you like the general idea, please create an entirely different metaphor related to your own niche or target market. Or, of course, it works just fine to write a straight MOS without metaphor.

    Jacleen, thanks for asking!

    Mon 11/3:

Wow, this challenge just keeps getting easier! *And* … I have my work cut out for me if I’m going to get $2000 in new income during this next couple of weeks. I’m getting results, but many of them are for after the challenge ends.

    New invitations: 3

I got an e-mail from K, editor of my bi-monthly column, reminding me of my next deadline. I remembered that she’d asked me last time (by e-mail) about my business, but had not yet finished answering why she’s not currently doing her art. I e-mailed to remind her, and offered a phone conversation (intro call) to discuss it.

I called ML, a photographer from the event a couple of weeks ago, who’d been interested in talking further about how I can help her make a prosperous living from her art. I offered a call, and we scheduled it … for Dec 12, since she’s traveling till then.

And I left a phone message for J from the same event, an actor / writer / musician who’d also expressed interest in talking with me, but who I’d not yet offered a session.

    So, 1 live, 1 phone message, 1 e-mail.

    I also did a bunch of follow-ups:

Called S from the open studio last Sunday – she didn’t schedule a specific date yet, but asked me to send the prep work for the call, and offered to schedule by e-mail.

Also called J form the open studio who was scheduled to call me Saturday and didn’t – we scheduled to speak tomorrow morning to schedule an intro call. Also e-mailed M from the crafts fest Friday just to follow up, and M from yesterday’s block party, to schedule by e-mail as we discussed. And sent the intro call prep work to ML and S right away after talking with them.

Also was at a meeting this evening, where A mentioned that his daughter R is writing a novel, and manages her money well, so I asked him to refer me, and gave instructions how to do that. I’ll follow up with him tomorrow.

Oh, and I had a scheduled follow-up with D, who did an intro call Friday – his wife said she totally wants him to do it, but now’s not the right time financially. But he’s still looking for a way to make it work, and seems pretty sure he’ll be ready next month and hopefully sooner. We’re scheduled to speak again in two weeks.

Many pots simmering on the stove – we’ll see who “cooks”!

And I posted a blog entry (www.TheProsperousArtist.com/blog) about the Amazon book launch I submitted a bonus to. I just started my blog a couple weeks ago, so it’s good to post something regularly.

My new client B had his first session today – he’s awesome, and off to a rocking start.

I may have already mentioned this, but I’ve really gotten something on a deep level this week. All three people I’ve done intro calls with during this challenge have gotten (via David’s questions, basically) to the experience of “this is what I was put here to do”, and all expressed it in more or less those words. (And of course, once they get there, how can they *not* hire me?!)

The thing that I’ve gotten: Helping people do the thing they were put here to do – that’s what *I’m* here to do!

    Total invitations so far: 25
    Sessions scheduled: 5 / Sessions delivered: 3
    New clients: 1 / Pending: 2
    Money collected: $250

1 … 4 5 6 7 8 … 11
