But she didn&#8217;t know it yet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">She suddenly sat upright: \u201c<strong>I have no relationship with my husband<\/strong>\u201d she realized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Jane was drowning in exhaustion. She felt overwhelmed in her business, like she was barely keeping her head above water. Jane needed external results, but she realized <strong>she had to start with herself.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">She leaned towards me and said, \u201cI don\u2019t even have a relationship with myself. I am a mother and I care for my kids. <strong>But who cares for me?<\/strong> I know I don\u2019t.\u201d She turned back towards the window.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">I nodded, and jotted down some notes. It was time to get started&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Over the next weeks and months, Jane and I worked on creating space for her to simply breathe. Literally, <strong>we would take deep breaths together over skype<\/strong> to get grounded and connected. Then I had Jane plan and participate in a beautiful date with herself. She was skeptical and resistant at first, but a 30 minute date turned into a <strong>5 hour life-affirming reconnection with herself<\/strong> and nature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">One day I&nbsp;told her: \u201cYou\u2019re very capable at handling the next challenge. But when do you take time to realize your successes?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">So Jane&nbsp;started a gratitude journal to confront how good things were. And she started <strong>verbally appreciating every family member<\/strong> for the changes she was seeing in them, instead of focusing on what she wished was different.&nbsp;Gratitude was transforming Jane\u2019s life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">While we were working on Jane\u2019s life, we also began addressing the professional solutions for her business. \u201cIt\u2019s so frustrating finding good staff. <strong>No-one is going to do the job as well as I can<\/strong>\u201d, she said. \u201cRubbish!\u201d, I told her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">We developed a streamlined interview process, allowing Jane to hire 5 new employees. This gave her creative freedom, relieving the stress of holding the weight of the world on her shoulders.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">After just three months, <strong>Jane\u2019s business has achieved record sales<\/strong>. She is more than halfway to preparing her business for sale, and has <strong>reduced her workload by 30%<\/strong>. She has opened up new possibilities with her family, and learned how to love herself. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">This is Jane, and it\u2019s a privilege to know her.
