The following is an excerpt of one of David\u2019s coaching sessions in Top Coaching Techniques<\/a>.<\/p>\n

David: Now that\u2019s maybe one thing. The other thing I want to say is, I can understand – particularly for a woman – because you are taught you should find a man.<\/p>\n

Client: Yeah.<\/p>\n

David: You\u2019ve been taught that since birth. That it will give you value and that\u2019s what you should do, and in a way, you\u2019ve been taught that you\u2019re lucky if a man finds you and settles down with you and looks after you \u2013 all that kind of crap \u2013 before he finally dumps on you. So, particularly for a woman, I can understand the thinking, \u2018I must sacrifice for my relationship.\u2019 However, there\u2019s another way of thinking that goes, \u2018If you look after yourself and you do what you love, you will shine and you will attract the person you need to be with. Until you become that person you need to be \u2013 until you go and shine, the person you are meant to be with can\u2019t even find you.<\/p>\n

Client: Yeah.<\/p>\n

David: Now, this guy might be the guy. That\u2019s okay. I\u2019m not saying he\u2019s not. I\u2019m saying you are not in a bargaining position. You are not needing him. You are not needing to sacrifice for any relationship. You could find someone who would love to be with you and you\u2019d be a delight to be around, because you are just so loving life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
