{"id":1506,"date":"2012-07-10T12:00:48","date_gmt":"2012-07-10T18:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/life-coaching-resource.com\/blog\/?p=1506"},"modified":"2012-02-03T14:37:44","modified_gmt":"2012-02-03T20:37:44","slug":"testimonials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.life-coaching-resource.com\/blog\/testimonials\/","title":{"rendered":"Testimonials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Testimonials are easy to get.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And \u2014 they serve a couple of purposes.\u00a0 Obviously, they help a prospective client see that you have helped someone else, which is likely to give them more confidence in signing up with you.\u00a0 This is particularly valuable in the first couple of years while you may be working on a certification.<\/p>\n<p>But secondly, they show YOU that you have helped others, and that you really do make a contribution!<\/p>\n<p>In this section, I\u2019ll ask you to get three clear testimonials that you can use to promote your credibility, your confidence, and your services.\u00a0 Note it can be as simple as a couple of lines from someone you have assisted.\u00a0 Of course it must be their words and you need their permission. \u00a0It\u2019s ideal if they are willing for you to put identifying information such as their full name, job title, company, city, and even e-mail address at the bottom. And who knows, maybe even age? This allows a potential client to better relate to the situation. \u00a0\u00a0And \u2014 if their company is known, and\/or they have a professional-sounding title, it gives you added credibility. \u00a0I also like to ask for a scanned photo so people can see it\u2019s a real person.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Testimonials are easy to get.
