My first product was an accident.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t know about internet marketing, I didn\u2019t know about products, I didn\u2019t know that that\u2019s what I really needed.\u00a0 I was just a coach\u2026 just a coach.\u00a0 I gave a speech to a conference and the speech turned out really well and I\u2019ve had the presence of mind to ensure that I had the rights to the recording.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t really mind that they had the rights to the recording as well, that I made sure that I have the rights to use it however I want it and the speech happened to turn out really well and I thought, we\u2019ll maybe I can sell this thing so I set a price of $39 which hasn\u2019t changed in, oh my goodness, eight years now.\u00a0 It was August of 2002 and it\u2019s firstfiftyclients.com and I sold it as\u2026 it wasn\u2019t even a download; you could just listen to it online for three months and then eventually I made it a download and eventually I made it a CD but that\u2019s how I stumbled upon it.\u00a0\u00a0 We\u2019re going to be more deliberate about how you create your product and this is a going to be a lot simpler than getting to speak at an international conference, you don\u2019t need that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
