Don\u2019t do work on speculation. Don\u2019t create long responses to complex RFPs. Don\u2019t spend a lot of time \u201cauditioning\u201d. Coaches are different from consultants, and coaches get paid in advance. For career coaching: Don\u2019t let a client assure that the first \u201cexit package\u201d offer received from their company is the best offer they can expect.
