MM #69: Take the 2 Week Challenge!

1. Announcements/Offers

Mega Coaching Sale! 90% off all products!

This is a ridiculous offer, and that’s why you should go right now and get it.

If you could get your hands on dozens of popular coaching courses and products at just a *fraction* of the cost, would you run to get it? I mean 10% of the cost!

This month, 20+ coaching experts are coming together in a “grand experiment.” They’re practically giving their high quality products and programs away in the hope that you will like it so much, you’ll want to learn more about their other products.

300 coaches have already jumped on this – get it now while the sale still lasts.

They’re also giving away a ton of free coaching tools just for visiting the web page at:
www.SolutionBox.com/megasale.htm

Free Coach Training Teleclass – hot technology!

Thomas Leonard’s former coach, Tom Stone, is finally making his powerful technology available to coaches. i.e. he’s willing to SHOW you how to use this with your clients, so you can produce mind-blowing results with your clients. (Thomas RAVED about Tom and his results, which is why I’m so excited the training is now available)

And I’m really happy to see Michael Stratford heading up the program. (Michael is a Master Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, a senior trainer for CoachU, and has trained over 4000 coaches!)

Tom’s agreed to do a teleclass for MentorMonthly™ subscribers
only, to show you how to apply the technique. And he’s waiving any fee. It’s also a chance for you to decide if this ground-breaking training program is for you.

Register for this valuable, free teleclass here while space is still available:
www.SolutionBox.com/teleforum-tom.htm

(And yes, if you can’t make it, register anyway and we’ll send you the recording. But you definitely want to make this call!)

Join me in 3 months of meditation

300 people from around the world have joined me in meditating 10 minutes a day, every day, for 3 months.

We’re two weeks in, and you’re still very welcome to join us. To join simply:

1) send a blank email to david38-195055@autocontactor.com and

2) declare your commitment at www.SolutionBox.com/meditate (and I invite you to post there every couple of days to let us know how it’s going so we can support each other)

David

2. FEATURE: Take the 2 Week Challenge!

I often achieve a lot, but I’m feeling like really cranking it out for the next 2 weeks – care to join me?
***
Are you performing at your capacity?

Would you love to be HUGELY productive?

I mean – think about what you did in the past two weeks. Think what you achieved.

Imagine if instead, you had produced FOUR TIMES what you achieved in the last two weeks?

How would it feel now?

Again… I often achieve a lot, but I’m feeling like really cranking it out for the next 2 weeks – care to join me?

I just received an amazing report from a coach I’m mentoring in my CoachStart Program. (I only work with a very few, unique clients these days.) You may remember Joelle and her great web site from Mentor Monthly issues #65 and #66. (And my mistake, it was her wonderful husband who created her website, not a ‘friend’ as reported.) 😉

As part of the program, coaches have to report their results to me. And when I read her report, I was blown away by how much she was in action and producing.

It was so inspiring, I asked her permission to include her Two Week Achievement List here so you can be as inspired as I am, and motivated to action!

MORE IMPORTANTLY, at the end of the article I’m going to invite you to list what you will accomplish in the NEXT 14 DAYS, and publicly proclaim it on the blog. (I’ve already posted mine for the world to see.)

  • 1 new client
  • Registered domain name CoachJoelle.com
  • Set up email and email signature for CoachJoelle.com and it is working
  • Personally created 10 pages base web site – will be reviewing with web company over weekend (totally new experience – major learning – I can create a website!!)
  • Designed business cards
  • Sought out appropriate printer
  • Enrolled friend to make it high definition
  • Created goal form
  • Created contract – being reviewed by lawyer
  • Created Passion Quiz parts 1 and 2 (I love part 2; it is really brilliant!)
  • Started creating weekly commitment and accomplishment form
  • Created standard form and look for CoachJoelle.com
  • Purchased gerber flower picture as an icon for web and paperwork
  • 1 exploratory session (and followed the process from David’s newsletter)
  • Created paper document process flow for exploratory session
  • Created paper process flow for having hard conversations with clients
  • Met with image consultant (purged closet)
  • Appointment set for new hair cut
  • Appointment set for work with makeup artist
  • Became a wholesaler and ordered 13 books from compendium
  • Mailed 5 SHE books to 3 prospects, 1 new client, 1 existing client
  • Interviewed and approved for permanent residency
  • Spoke with lawyer and accountant about business set up procedures
  • Identified suitable format and began 6 month plan – very helpful
  • Spent about 20 hours learning and playing with the web. There is more. I will work on this.
  • Added blog script to website – still have to figure it out
  • Added broadcast email script, edited mail lists 700 people and ready to integrate it to send an email

***

Now that’s a lot of stuff! Talk about moving!

I often achieve a lot, but I’m feeling like really cranking it out for the next 2 weeks – care to join me?

ACTION

If you’re up for this, here’s how to join me:

  1. Declare today your list of what you’ll achieve by Friday, October 20 (2 weeks from now). Declare it on the blog. I’ve already posted my list where you can read it , and I’m going achieve it! Oh, and Joelle’s joining us too. 😉
  2. Send a blank email to david38-197419@autocontactor.com. At the least, I’ll send you an email at half time (one week from today) inviting you to post a half time report on the blog, then an email in two weeks asking you to report and celebrate! (and if I decide to do a teleclass midway you’ll receive the details)
  3. Set up an additional support structure to keep yourself in action. The best idea? Have a bunch of friends join you in this process by sending them this newsletter! You can then support each other along the way. Other optional ideas are posters on your wall, and reminders in your diary. You might also enjoy posting your daily progress on the blog. I will be.

Enjoy!

P.S. Got a comment on this article? Add it to the blog.

P.P.S. There are a maximum of five spaces left in the CoachStart Program, and I’m quite specific about who I work with. If you’re an established coach or consultant, and consider yourself a high flyer, and are ready to focus on marketing, branding and/or creating product – you can apply for one of the five spaces here: www.CoachStart.com/Mentor.htm. Please include why it would be fun to work with you. 😉

A business proposal is created to reflect the professionalism of your organisation and is there to persuade a buyer that your goods or providers are useful to them. Together with any other collateral it’s the proposition which you are giving to the client and what will hopefully win much more function for the company.

O.K. I’m throwing my hat in the ring too!

    Here’s my two week plan:

    1. Send in my application to take the Massage National Board Exam.

    2. Set up a study schedule for the next thirty days and stay on task with studying.

    3. Continue to clarify how my services help people achieve their dreams and create a compelling “elevator speech” to convey this.

    4. Continue to research how to get my website up, complete with auto responders and squeeze pages.

    5. Work on how I will turn my audio interviews with successful entrepreneurs and coaches into products for sale as well as learning how to use the audios to attract clients to sign up for “fee-based” telecalls and a “fee-based” membership web site.

I think this is enough to work on for two weeks!

Way to hit the trail David!(That’s Texas Talk!) WOW! Everyone! What a bunch of “go-getters!” I managed my poster making and presented them. I was told they would have to work me in to their “budget” in order to give me a confirmation. (Procrastinators!) We parted as new friends and I moved on to the next one that didn’t need an excuse about a budget and they bought in!

I am planning to follow up on my many leads and jump start the “Heaven that’s Coming in 2007!” That’s my logo for the up coming year! I got my Fix in 2006 and Came Alive in 2005.

This was great and I so enjoyed meeting my new friend, Karen from this blog challenge. She is a spit-fire of a woman! (More Texas talk) She is going to do great things! Just sit back, put your feet up and watch the sunset…

I can feel the success ooozing from everyone! I had a blast challenging myself and posting for all to see. Yea, let’s do another one! I need the motivation with the holidays coming! I am already writing workshop material for those New Year’s Resolutioner’s!

Remember to be a W.O.L.F.E. and join in on the fact that the WORLD is full OF LITTLE FEET…make it your ENTERPRISE! Don’t Follow the Pack….LEAD IT! TM

    Take care all!

I’m back with my results. 🙂

    1. Finish core web site for my new partnership. [DONE! Now need to get ‘head shots’ up for 3 of us.]

    2. Post registration form; get online registration going for our first workshop. [DONE!]

    3. Consulting project milestone: November magazine finished. [DONE! And that was a doozy. Bonus: website, online registration form and badge form also finished. This is for a convention.]

    4. Meditate at least every other morning. [I did this in a non-conventional way: I worked on a prayer shawl to donate to our Unity congregation.]

    5. Finish current knitting project and make significant progress on the next. [DONE! Did an extra little project in between – a stretchy hat.]

    6. Come up with at least one viable solution for combatting spam. [Not there. Key word is ‘viable.’ 😉 ]

    7. Have SVdP charity pick up furniture and other donations taking up space in the garage. [Nope. Still there.]

    8. Get at least one quotation for future sunroom addition. [Asked online – so I’m just getting started.]

    9. Update both my blogs. [DONE! These are personal blogs, not business, but it’s still nice to keep up. I’m thinking about doing NaBloPoMo.]

    10. Finish and list two new craft projects at my Etsy shop. [Did the crafts, but need to locate my digital camera so I can post them. Better not take two weeks. 🙂 ]

Let me just say in some ways, I went above and beyond (added on to what I proposed), especially considering I got sick! I also probably over-committted myself, but I really wanted to list everything I had been putting off and wanted to challenge myself. I am learning to committ more realistically. What that really means, is I am being more grounded and listening to my intuition. All in all, this challenge really invigorated me and helped me move forward in my life. Thanks David!

    My Progress Report:

    BY OCTOBER 20, 2006 I WILL ACHIEVE:

    1. Invested at least 3 hours in some sort of art ptoject:
    *** I did about 1.5 hrs.

    2. job hunted in a light-hearted, expanisve way for 4 hrs.
***I did job hunt for MORE than 4 hours. However, I did very little resume submitting. Through this I have learned more about my underlying fears, feel more confident and light-hearted about it, and will now act more quickly when I find a job that inspires me.

    3. two completed hypnosis scripts ready for recording
***Created the outline for an Opening to Your Intuition script, recorded myself as I led a good friend through the hypno journey (a nice way to show gratitude for all he has done for me) and started to type up what I recorded. Have a session schedule next Wed. to trial an stress reduction script with people who that I “owe” some gratitude towards.

    4. order biz cards.
    *** Done!

    5. Post ad on yahoo group for at least one person to do candida heal diet with.
***I ended up also posting to additional group of people. I am meeting w/ my end-sugar addiction buddy to flesh things out on Monday. I have refined my being chill and trusting way-of-being through this.

    6. spend 3 hours completing survey.
    ***Done!

    7. open up new bank account and apply for credit card.
    ***Done!

    8. respond to hypnosis inquiry e-mail.
    ***Done! (w/ style)

    9. post 2 ads on craigslist.

    ***Done!

    10. Set appointment with healer.

    ***Done! (cannot wait.)

    11. contact A about hard drives, old web text/images & shirt (get back).

*** Still setting something up w/ him. We both had conflicting schedules. Sent follow up e-mailo today.

    12. set up new session/phone structure.

***Started Phone structure. Revamping 1st session structure.

    13. call paul robinson
    ***Done!
    14. change cell phone plan
    ***Done!
    15. sign up for intro. bikram week
***Starting my 1st class tomorrow or Sunday (motivated by where attractive an man goes!)
    16. Run 4 times a week for 15 – 25 minutes.
***I got sick and very busy, so only ran twice. After the run-down phase ended, I actually had the intuition running would make me feel better, but didn’t follow that until today. Running actually cleared my stuffy nose for a while and thinned the, er, secretions and changed their color to clear. Who knew?

These were added in last minute:

    17. Drop off shoes for repair
    ***Done!
    18. Call Verizon to cancel DSL
*** Called tonight twice, but due to high call vollume they couldn’t handle my call.

Good on you Kim and Karen (that’s an Aussie expression).

Here’s my full time progress report:

    BY OCTOBER 20, 2006 I WILL ACHIEVE:

    1. Grant application completed and submitted [BIG PROGRESS, WILL TAKE 1 MORE WEEK]

    2. a) InternetClients eCourse completely ready for launch
    (Bonus: launched!) [NO ACTION]

    2. b) ICE5 (the first 5 lessons) ready for separate launch [NO ACTION]

    3. a) Michele trained in PPC advertising [80% DONE]
    3. b) Current campaigns tweaked and profitable (including moving 10Super index page)
[CAMPAIGN TWEAKED + SIGNUP PAGE IMPLEMENTED]
    3. c) At least one new campaign set up [NOT DONE]
    3. d) PPC monthly reporting process established by Michele. [NOT DONE]
    3. e) New technology to increase subscription rates tested on one site. [NOT TESTED. READY NOW FOR TESTING]
    3. f) New credibility features split tested on a sales page.
[CHANGES DONE. NOT SPLIT TESTED YET]

    4. a) Emailing Module for second company tested and working.
    [CURRENTLY BEING TESTED. LOOKS GOOD]
    4. b) Click through rates increased via new template and targeted data
    [CHANGES DONE; AWAITING RESULTS]

    5. a) Tom Stone training promotion complete
    [SUCCESSFUL! AND SECOND PROMOTION ANNOUNCED]
    5. b) Meditate, and practice sleeping with sound, every day
[MEDITATION DONE, SOUND PRACTICE WAS EVERY SECOND DAY]

Comments: I found it did keep me focused and on track, and I’d like to do another one soon. Even today, the last day, I sat down and worked instead of playing because of this deadline.

Insight: Play and relaxation time seems equally important to me than my goals right now. So I got a lot of fun in too, and the expense of completing the targets, which is fine.

Also there are many things I do which I don’t realise, which take up lots of time – lots of maintenance, which can get in the way of creating/achieving new things. And then we got hit by a cold, and a family near death, which can mess with time frames.

Congrats to all who played! Who’s up for another one? I have LOTS to accomplish by Dec 15, and it’s nice to have company.

    David

My thoughts…I’m happy with how it’s going. Feels good to have the important things on a piece of paper on the wall, with a deadline. Every now and then I check on it and reassure myself that I’ve got it all covered. I’d like to keep this system going.

And when I think of things that I can’t get to now, I have more peace, thinking….”The time for that will come when X is out of the way”.

    Enjoy!

    This is great!

    What have I done thusfar. . . .

    2. Job Hunted for 2 hours and 15 minutes! Also, got some clarity in how to approach this.

    3. Found 2 volunteers for hypno script creation/refinement!

    4. Have a possible candida heal buddy that I probably will be meeting w/ next Friday!

    5. Finished 3 survey hours!

    6. Posted 1 our 2 ads on craigslist.

    7. Called Healers (about to set appointment!)

    8. Set up time to get harddrives & shirt from A.

    9. started running program.

Challenge? Time (doing it w/ out rushing and hecticness.) Also, making intuive integrity decisions on how to best use my time/energy and not people pleasing.

I also added on calling Verizon to cancel plan (I have put this off a long time, so this is a great way to make myself do it. I also put on to get one pair of shoes repaired. It’s silly, but I put this off too. LOL.)

Woo hoo! Great to have company in this 2 week productivity challenge. Great lists!

I did some work over the weekend and made great progress on things I’ve putting off for a while.
It still feels like a lot to do, but now I feel very clear what there is to do.
Also today I said ‘no – that can wait until the first three things are done’ which was a big step forward. Without this list I would keep juggling and feel everything had to be done today.

Okay, I can’t wait..I am so pumped up! I already found a FREE web page at FREEWEBS.COM.
**I created my web page already **got a 2 week challenge going for my blog page
**posted a sample of my article
**wrote my workshop for the, “Come in Tired ~ Leave Inspired” workshop.

I am going to contact the local spa’s in my area to see if they would like to host this event.

I am also working on a new concept for individuals about Leaving Your Legacy. I plan on proposing this to the local paper and being a regular column.

I am amazed with the amount of ideas that are flooding my mind. I hope to have more to report in the next week. Good luck to all that have posted your challenges! I know you can reach your goals!

    Here’s to your success!
