10 Super Coaches

"I was working on a marketing strategy that was going to cost quite a bit of money when I bought the ebook. It made me realise there is a MUCH more direct, and less expensive method. Saved me several hundred pounds and gave me a kick up the rear end to do something else. Thanks!"

Neil Gilbranch, United Kingdom

"Why re-invent the wheel when you can see how successful people are already producing results you want? Don't hesitate, buy it today. 2. FEATURE: A Moving Story

[Note to reader: Below is the most extraordinary email I have ever received. It arrived in my inbox in April of this year, and with all the spam I get I nearly deleted it! All my newsletters have a message, but I'm not sure what the message is for this one. Maybe you can? I just know I want to share it with you, and Elizabeth has given her permission.]

Email received April 2002:

Dear David,

I am not sure whether you will remember this meeting but I wanted to contact you anyway.

My name is Elizabeth Turner and you met my husband, Simon Turner in April 2000 on the plane traveling from New York to San Francisco. He worked for a British financial publishing magazine company called Risk and he was travelling in the US on business. I have attached a picture of him to help you and I have an email that you wrote to him telling him about a really silly, boyish business idea that I recall he enjoyed.

Anyway - not sure whether you remember but Simon passed me your website and email address because I was interested in pursuing a career as a life coach. I think I was toying with the idea but wasn't sure whether I really had it in me. Well I have just had the biggest life lesson ever and it has meant that I have decided to pursue a different avenue now with my life.

My husband, Simon, was hosting a conference at the Windows of the World Restaurant in the World Trade Centre on 11th September 2001. His body has never been recovered. I was 7 months pregnant at the time with our first child and I gave birth to William Simon on 14th November 2001.

I have now decided to leave my job as a Senior HR Manager for a large TV company in England and I am setting up a charity to help people deal with death through holistic methods and I would like to incorporate life coaching in this venture. Perhaps you can help?

I know it is a long shot and you may not remember Simon but I truly believe there are no coincidences in life and that you met him for a reason and he forwarded your details to me.

I look forward to hearing from you.

With best wishes,
Elizabeth Turner
London

Can You Help Elizabeth?

As it happens I do remember Simon, even though we only spent five hours together, two years ago. You can access the picture Elizabeth sent me here: www.life-coaching-resource.com/simon.htm

It seems she has now set up a registered charity in the UK to help people through grief via holistic methods. If something in this story touched you, and you would like to contribute to Elizabeth's inspiring project, she has told me they are interested in:

  • assistance with premises/office space in the UK
  • donations to help with start up costs
  • coaches in training who are interested in combining coaching with Reiki and other holistic approaches.

Please contact Elizabeth at if you want to play!

Enjoy,

3. The Personal Touch

My first product is now available online, and is going great! (Formal announcement in next newsletter). The relationship book for men is in it's final revision, and hopefully goes online within a month! After two years, this is a big milestone.

Last night was the first improvisation class I've been to in 10 years. Just for fun I'm going to audition for a play, and also for a short film. I don't know if it's merely a whim at this stage, but last night gave me some much needed balance and fun - so we'll see.

I'm seeing some beautiful results with my clients. Sometimes I'm surprised at how fast, or how deeply they shift. I love this job, and can't imagine ever not coaching.

-David
